The day before she went to the MTC, we spent some time in downtown SLC at temple square. Here's some of the kids at the tabernacle: (from left) Schyler, Nakai, Larissa, Halle, Braxton, Cade, Taysa, & Ace.

Here's the same crew of kids in the visitor's center at temple square with this legendary statue of Christ.
At the end of the day, and after a couple of trips to the airport, Grandpa treated the whole family to an awesome steak dinner at th Texas Roadhouse. It was great food and a fun memory with the WHOLE crew that made it to Utah for the occasion. Thanks Grandpa!!
The waitress at the Texas Roadhouse was awesome. After dinner, she brought out "the saddle" and this dish of ice cream, along with a crew of the waiters and sang a cheer for Rissy leaving on her mission. It was fun!
The fam in front of Tiani's beautiful house just before Riss left for the MTC. Joretta and Bo are there too, just not in the picture.
Larry, Kix, and I drove her to the MTC in Provo. These are the last pics we got with her, in the temple parking lot across the road from the MTC:
At the MTC, they give you 2 1/2 minutes to drop her off at the curb and get her bags unloaded. It was intense! We got a kick out of several people thinking that Kix was our missionary, until they saw the way he was dressed... :)
